Visual Arts II

The curriculum for Visual Arts 2 is designed to encourage high school students to pursue art seriously while also following the creative journey of an artist. Students have the opportunity to work with different types of media and processes, such as drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, and alternative media.

Throughout the course, students maintain a sketchbook and explore advanced techniques and ideas. They also study the work of other artists, make interdisciplinary connections. The course aims to develop students' independent thinking skills and their ability to learn in a self-directed manner.

Additionally, students apply their creativity and critical thinking skills to develop work in response to a theme or conceptual problem. They learn to generate their own content and choose the appropriate media for their work. They also participate in art critiques and presentations.
